Unique History (E)

Starting from the wandering of the son of King Tabanan. He crossed many mountainous regions, many crossed the river and on his journey, he met a powerful hermit. He received instructions to continue his journey to the south and he arrived at a place called Kerambitan, where the Kingdom of Kerambitan was built. In ancient times it was told in Bali that riots had taken place, many frightened people came to the Kerambitan area to seek refuge with the King of Kerambitan, so the king sent people to take refuge in the western forests of the Kerambitan kingdom. People feel happy living in the forest because the atmosphere is cool and safe, then over time the forest is turned into a small village called Tista (ngetis) which was taken the last syllable "Tis" and because of the influence of dialects, then turned into "Tista" and the river where the bodyguards bathe the horse is called Tibu Jaran which comes from the word Tibu meaning River and Jaran which means Horse. As time passed, many people used the river for their daily needs, so the name Tibu Jaran changed to Lating River. 

Sejarah Unik (I)

Berawal dari pengembaraan putra Raja Tabanan. Dia melintasi banyak daerah pegunungan, banyak menyeberangi sungai dan dalam perjalanannya, dia bertemu dengan seorang pertapa yang kuat. Ia mendapat petunjuk untuk melanjutkan perjalanannya ke selatan dan sampailah ia di suatu tempat bernama Kerambitan, tempat berdirinya Kerajaan Kerambitan. Pada zaman dahulu dikisahkan di Bali terjadi kerusuhan, banyak orang ketakutan datang ke daerah Kerambitan untuk berlindung kepada Raja Kerambitan, sehingga raja mengutus orang untuk berlindung di hutan barat kerajaan Kerambitan. Orang merasa senang tinggal di hutan karena suasananya yang sejuk dan aman, kemudian lama kelamaan hutan tersebut berubah menjadi desa kecil bernama Tista (ngetis) yang diambil suku kata terakhir “Tis” dan karena pengaruh dialek, maka berubah menjadi menjadi "Tista" dan sungai tempat para pengawal memandikan kuda disebut Tibu Jaran yang berasal dari kata Tibu yang berarti Sungai dan Jaran yang berarti Kuda. Seiring berjalannya waktu, banyak masyarakat yang memanfaatkan sungai tersebut untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari, sehingga nama Tibu Jaran berubah menjadi Sungai Lating.

How to Reach (E)

Tista Village is one of the villages located in Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency. The distance from Ngurah Rai International Airport about 35 km with a travel time of 1 hour 30 minutes, while from Tabanan City it is about 9 km with a travel time of about 15 minutes. Tista village has good access and can be passed by motorbikes, cars, or buses.

How to Reach (I)

Desa Tista merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Kerambitan, Kabupaten Tabanan. Jarak tempuh dari Bandara Internasional Ngurah Rai sekitar 35 km dengan waktu tempuh 1 jam 30 menit, sedangkan dari Kota Tabanan sekitar 9 km dengan waktu tempuh sekitar 15 menit. Desa Tista memiliki akses yang baik dan dapat dilalui oleh sepeda motor, mobil, atau bus.
